State Fruit Apple

Washington is the nation's top apple-producing state, so it is appropriate that the apple was named a state symbol in 1989' the centennial year. A favorite fruit around the world, the apple comes in many different colors, sizes and varieties. From the beautiful blossoms of spring, to the heavily laden branches in autumn, the apple trees of eastern Washington represent one of the largest industries the Washington shiny apple recognized as a symbol of the state.

About the past Tense

Yesterday my sister and I maned cake for my Dad his Favorite cake.My cousin brought the cake to my Dad they leave in (CA) My husband and I went to Church on Sunday.

Five Questions to consider;

Because my religion is very important to me, Freedom of religion is the most importnat right to me. I pray five times a day, and I never want to miss that. ALso, I wear a scarf when I go out, and I want the freedom to do that.

I like the eduction and work opportunity in the us. I am able to study English for a low cost, and keep improving my life.

About the us? When I first came here, I didnt know any english, and I didnt understand anything. It was very hard for me to communicate with people. The most difficult part of English for me is writing, and spelling.

I didnt have any role model, but I had belief in god, and was true religion. My religion was my way of life and it gave me hope in everything that I do.

About my homework!

Yesterday. I went home I do my homework. ofter that I learn how to spell the words and I rend a book to. Share your answers. Do you ever talk to the principal of your school. No I did is there a place for you to eat at your school. Yes they have a place for us to eat lunch. Do you like to work in groups. Yes I do I like to work in groups. Do you like to read with the groups. Yes I do I use to read after my teacher.

My goal for Next Year!

I have a big goal. I want to help my grandchildren with their homework. There are three steps I need to take to reach my goal. First, I need to learn to speak, read, and write English well. Second, I need to volunteer in my grandchildren's school. Third, I need to talk with their teachers and learn more about their homework assignments. Maybe I'll be ready to help my grandchildren with their homework in a few months.

The freedom of people

I like to live in us because we have a freedom of worship!

And we have freedom of expression! it is easy for me to wear my clothes! I like freedom of speech because I can speak any languges if I want to!

Spring Break

During my spring break I enjoyed cooking and l cleaned. After that I read my book and then if have sunshine I like to take a walk at the park the next day my sister as me went to meeting at RW from about 10-to-12. On Sunday my family went to the wedding at Olympia we have good food .

I like to go to school because i dont know alot of english, so it teaches me how to speak and write english better. I am very happy to be in this class, because I think that the teacher is very nice. I also feel that everyone is like a family to me, and everyone helps me alot, especially the teacher. I hope to stay in this class for the next quarter because I like learning from this teacher, she is very nice to me.

I'd like you to meet Ted and janet parker. They're a young married couple. They live in San Diego, California. Ted works for sun Valley fruit Company. He's an assistant manager and works in the office. Janet works for a sales person and she work part time. Ted loves sports. He loves to golf, jog, and play baseball. Janet loves romantic movies. she likes to watch them on TV. Sometimes she goes jogging with Ted. Janet is at work now, but poor Ted is at home with a bad cold. For me a perfect day.

for me a perfect day is eating with my family. On a perfect day my family working hard together. I like to learn English! with my friend. I like go out with my family.Early in the morning I drink one cup of coffee includes have time with my family. Every weekend i like to eat and talk with my sisters and family. Me and my sisters are neighbors. Every year my parents come visit from California. When they come the whole family come eat together eveyday, otherwise my parents get upset. My father always wants us to be together all the time.

There are some things I really like about living here. There are Frest air and a lot of Green Trees. But there are a few things that I don't like very much. there are to much rain and cold. No matter where you live, there are always good points and bad points. The Walking ! On February 21 my husband and I went to walked over and over . We almost got lost until my aunt told us that we went the wrong way so we have to walk all the way back. oh it is was very ti.

Seattle

There are some things I really like about living here. There is fresh air and a lot of green trees. But there are a few things that I don't like about Seattle. In Seattle it rains a lot, so i have to stay inside. Seattle also has alot of big hills and driving a car is very bumpy.

My favorite kind of food is Pho. It is from Vietnam. My favorite place is Seattle. The weather is not too hot and not too cold. In the summertime, it is beautiful. My favorite kind of music is Cambodian music. because I understand my languge.

Spring Time!

Yesterday I want a walk. I am daffodils blooming! I saw frogs croaking and birds chirping! I feel the warm sun on my back. I saw flowers blooming everywhere. I heard about the groundhog, still asleep in his hole. Silly Groundhog! It is February, and SPRING IS HERE EARLY!

About Me

I am from Cambodia I have lived here Sixteen years. I have also lived in California. My native language is Chaim I have three kids. Their ages are: 24, 20, 16, For me, the easiest part about learning English is speaking the The hardest part is spelling. I am writing this blog to practice my English.

Exercise

Today I am going to walk for about one hour with my family. Today is a nice day so we will go to the river trail. It is about one and half miles long. The doctor told me that i should exercise more because i have high colesterol, so i decided to take a jog at the trail. I try to go jogging everyday that is sunny. Sometimes on the weekdays i go jogging with my friend. Alot of times after i run i get hungry, so i go home and have a big meal and have a good sleep at night.

Groundhog Day

My name is Jamilah. To day learned about Groundhog day on febuary 2nd I never heard this story before, it was funny. I learned that the groundhogs come out during winter in Seattle and stay underground for six more weeks until spring comes. The next day I learned about rain when its raining I cant go anywhere. In seattle it rains alot, so i stay inside alot.

I always cook and clean.

I never play games.
